Rules

Join the fun at our marina and be the first to be the next big star at the lake. Lake Idol night will consist of talent from far and wide and allow them to compete in an american idol style singing competition over the course of 6 weeks.

• 9 Weeks In Total
• 8 Contest Nights
• 1 Finale
• Contestants should arrive 1 hour before event time in order to fill out applications, select songs and go over rules.
• Event will happen every Thursday, rain or shine!
• Each contestant can sing up to 2 songs
• Music will be provided by Tennessee DJs, but musical instruments are permitted.
• Original songs are allowed.
• No songs may be performed that could be deemed offensive.
• Contestants can enter for more than one event
• There will be only 1 winner per event
• Each week's winner may open the following week's show
• Contestants will be judged on the following:
• Crowd Participation
• Stage Presence
• Voice
• Each judge will vote on a scale of 1-10 on each category as listed above.
• Contestant cannot be involved with or related to any of the judges.
• Contestant must be a legal U.S. resident and at least 18 years old at the time of registration.
• Contestant must not be an employee any of the following:
• Twin Creeks Marina
• Twin Creeks Properties
• Drafts & Watercrafts
• No purchase necessary to enter or win.
